Kane, Lally lead LHS indoor track and field teams at holiday classic

Matthew Kane led the Lancaster High School boys team with two wins and a third-place finish Saturday, December 14, at the annual Denbigh Holiday Track and Field Classic at the Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton.

Kane cleared 8’6” to win the pole vault event and ran the 1000 meter in 2:45.27 to win the distance race. He also ran the 1600 meter in 4:36.57 for third place in that race.

Lancaster’s Brady Vanlandingham was the runner-up in the shot with a 45’5.5” put and the Red Devils had three throwers finish in the top six….
