LANCASTER—Lancaster County’s Household Hazardous & Electronic Waste (HHW) spring collection will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. March 22 in the parking lot at the Courthouse, 8265 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster.
Lancaster County residents and property owners are asked to bring old household chemicals such as oil-based paint, cleaners, solvents, old or used petroleum products—including mower and boat gas, pool chemicals, pesticides, electronics, spent florescent and CFL bulbs to the event, reported Northern Neck Soil and Water Conservation District marketing/outreach specialist Kelly Brann.
Residents should not bring ammunition, radioactive materials, tires, car batteries, medical waste, or prescription drugs, said Brann.
Anyone with questions about the March 22 HHW collection should call Brann, 313-9102, x105.
