Lancaster cross country team has long trail ahead

With only one senior and three returning runners, the Lancaster High School boys and girls cross country teams are more than just young and inexperienced. “We’re brand-spanking new,” said coach Joanne Webb-Fary.

As with most cross country teams, there’s an ebb and flow in talent and numbers, she said. This year is a rebuilding year.

For the first time in a while, the Red Devils will not field a complete five-member boys team. That was the case with the girls team last year….
