Lancaster ranked third as district season nears end

The Lancaster High School varsity boys basketball team is ranked third in Region A and second in the Northern Neck District.

The Red Devils had a chance to move up in the ratings on February 10 when they lost for a second time this season to Northumberland, 74-64, in Claraville. The Indians are in first place in the district at 8-1, while the Devils are 7-2. Both teams had one more game remaining in district play this week. The district tournament will begin February 18 at the site of the higher….
