HEATHSVILLE—Larry Randall Holbrook, 69, of Heathsville passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on October 24, 2025. He was born on June 14, 1956, in Wise County to Georgia and Sylvis Holbrook.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Holbrook; beloved twin sister, Linda Lockhart; sister, Joy Newberry; parents, Georgia and Sylvis Holbrook; and his precious cat, MowMow.

He is survived by his brother, Gary Holbrook (Jody) of Weems; stepson, Chris Hume (Kate) of Charlotte, North Carolina; nephews, Bret Holbrook (Lindsay) of Fisher, Indiana, Ricky Smith (Edna) of Clintwood, Ryan Holbrook (Kori) of Richmond and Jody Weimer Jr. (McKenzie) of Midland; nieces, Trish Weimer (Jody) of Midland, Bridgette Cramer (Bobby) of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Michelle Morgal of Manassas, Kristina Holbrook of Boston, Massachusetts, and Bethany Stensaas (Corban) of Stafford; several great-nieces and great-nephews and his loyal four-legged furry companion, TeeTee. Larry is also survived by his best friend, Jennifer Evans; and long-time family friend Susan Thompson, both of Reedville.

Larry was a retired pipe fitter in northern Virginia and Florida but enjoyed collecting antiques and being around his family and his cats MowMow and TeeTee during his free time.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 8, at Currie Funeral Home, 116 East Church Street, Kilmarnock. Larry is loved and will be missed by many.
