Lancaster Elementary School is participating in “One School, One Book” for the month of March.
All students received a copy of The Lemonade Wars, courtesy of Chesapeake Bank, reported Holly W. Braly.
Students across all grade levels will read the books at home with their families throughout the month and answer questions at school about the book. Students will be entered into raffles for prizes for participating and there is also an optional family project to involve parents in the learning.
Funding for incentives of books and other prizes was made possible by the Lancaster County Virginia Education Foundation mini-grant program.
