The Lancaster County Virginia Education Foundation (LCVEF) recently honored 34 Lancaster High School (LHS) students at the 17th annual Celebration of Excellence Dinner held at the Meridian Restaurant in the Compass Entertainment Complex.
The students were selected based on their grade point averages—top five from the freshmen, sophomore and junior classes and the top 10 in the senior class, reported Margaret Socey. In addition, two students from each grade were nominated by LHS staff. The selected students, in turn, chose four teachers they wanted to honor.
Students, teachers, invited guests, administration and LCVEF board members were privileged to hear Rev. Samantha Cain-Davis, a 2010 LHS graduate, impart words of wisdom, life lessons and commitment to….
