HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, February 3, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of Reginals M. Smith of Lancaster, charged with three counts of probation violation on a felony offense, a trial was continued to June 3.
In the case of Jermaine M. Ball of Heathsville, charged with probation violation on a felony offense, a deferred disposition was continued to February 25.
In the case of Doris N. Brown, address not given, charged with embezzlement of over $200, a plea was set for April 22.
In the case of Joshua R. Bryant of Oneida, N.Y., charged with four counts of intercourse with a victim age 13 or younger while he was at least 14, bond was denied. A status hearing was set for March 25.
In the case of Cory F. Flannery of Callao, charged with possession of Schedule I/II drugs, a deferred disposition was set for July 8. Flannery currently faces $1,884.56 in costs and $280 in restitution.
In the case of Patrick G. Toth of Powhatan, charged with six counts of indecent acts with a child while acting as their custodian, having intercourse with a child age 13 or younger while he was at least 14, and sex with an object while the victim was age 13 or older while the suspect was over 18, a trial was continued to April 22.
In the case of Brandi N. McGehee of Newtown, three charges of probation violation on a felony offense were dismissed.
