YMCA/APYC Camp Kekoka brings to the shores of the Chesapeake Bay a traditional YMCA overnight camp experience for boys and girls from all over Virginia, Maryland and beyond. Located at 1083 Boys Camp Road in Kilmarnock, Camp Kekoka offers a traditional overnight camp, a mini-camp for ages eight to nine, and a leadership development Counselor In Training camp for 10th and 11th graders.
Resident Camp executive director Ana Mae Morrow likes to say that the YMCA puts the fun back into play.
“During the day we have knee boarding, kayaking, gaga ball, skiing, windsurfing, fishing, crabbing, swimming pool and waterfront, arts and crafts, archery, drama, basketball, cooking, spike ball, and so much more,” she said. “Campers will have the best week of their summer ….
