Lancaster coach Landon Gouveia is optimistic heading into the Friday, September 19, varsity football game against Middlesex.

Coming off a close 18-14 loss to West Point High School on Thursday, September 11, the Red Devils are still looking to earn their first win of the season. At 1-2, Lancaster’s only win was gifted by a Charles City forfeit.
“We’ve tweaked a few things,” said Gouveia. “We’re getting there.”
West Point held a 12-0 lead at the half after scoring in both quarters including a pick six late in the second quarter when Michael “MJ” Holmes pulled in an LHS pass and returned it 51 yards.
The Devils had a chance to get on the board….
