Renovated emergency department at RGH opens for patients

Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital (RGH) on Tuesday, October 11, gave community members a preview of the new emergency department which was scheduled to go live today, October 20.

Five of the new, expanded and now private rooms were completed while the other half of the department continued to see patients. Along with the new rooms, one of which is a special decontamination room, an observation room, triage and a family counseling room are included in the new space. Construction will now begin on the remaining five….
