The Rappahannock Music Study Club (RMSC) invites the public to hear Michael Repper, the Grammy-award-winning conductor of the Northern Neck Orchestra (NNO), at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, at Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury, 132 Lancaster Drive, Irvington.
Repper will discuss the power of phrasing and melody and include exciting news about the NNO. He is currently rehearsing with the orchestra in preparation for its final concert of the 2024-25 season on Saturday, April 26. This program will feature two pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven, Coriolan Overture and Triple Concerto, as well as Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Symphonic Variations on an African Air.
