Sharon Baptist Church, 1413 Lumberlost Road, Weems will observe homecoming and revival beginning August 4. The theme will be “Get Up, Let’s Go 2024.”
Rev. Dale Bunns, pastor, will lead morning worship, beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday. A celebratory luncheon will follow at 1:15 p.m., reported Sandra Smyre.
A praise and worship period directed by evangelist Mable Turner will be held from 2:15-3 p.m. The evening service will begin at 3:30 p.m. and sister Joan Carter Conway will be worship leader. Rev. Dwight Johnson from Potomac Baptist Church of Hague will be the guest minister. He will be accompanied by his congregation, choir and ushers.
