KILMARNOCK—Shirley Rose Packey, 67, of Kilmarnock passed away in the comfort of her home on March 14, 2020.
She was the daughter of the late Shirley Barbour-Rose and Wesley Rose.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Landon Selph (March 24, 2010-September 15, 2010).
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John Packey of Kilmarnock; her daughter, Debbie Wilson (Michael) of Heathsville; her granddaughters, Holly Selph of Charlottesville, Kaylee Selph of Sharps and Taylor Selph of Heathsville; her grandson, Michael Wilson Jr. of Heathsville; and her great-grandchildren, Gage Cook and Remy Cook of Topping.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, at Wesley Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Weems, where she grew up and spent the majority of her life surrounded by family and loved ones. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
