LANCASTER—Sylvia Dorothy Reedy, 90, of Lancaster passed away on December 22, 2017.
She is survived by her brother, Ernest Postorino.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Reedy; her parents, Ernesto and Mary Postorino; her brothers, Paul, August and John Postorino; and her sisters, Catherine and Helen Postorino.
While born and raised in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, Ms. Reedy moved to Northern Neck more than 30 years ago and considered this quiet and beautiful area her home.
She had many close friends and caring neighbors, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
A viewing will be held for Ms. Reedy from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, January 7, at Currie Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. during that viewing.
Ms. Reedy will be interred at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Md.
