VSP investigating fatal crash in Weems

WEEMS—The Virginia State Police on Thursday, January 30, responded to a single-vehicle crash on Greentown Road, about three-tenths of a mile south of Gaskins Road in Weems. The crash occurred at approximately 8:42 p.m.

The crash involved a 1997 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck that overturned multiple times, ejecting both of its occupants, reported Virginia State Police Sgt. Jessica B. Shehan, certified master public information officer.

The vehicle was traveling south on Greentown Road when it ran off the left side….
