The Town of Warsaw, along with Richmond County, has successfully applied for and received an extension of the Enterprise Zone Incentive Program until December 2033.
“This program is an integral part of our economic development strategy and has led to many improvements across town. We’re thankful to the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) staff, Director Horn and the Governor’s office for believing in our community. This extension will allow us to continue our successful economic development strategies, provide additional employment opportunities, increase commerce and create a more resilient community,” said town manager Joseph N. Quesenberry.
Within the last five reporting years, the program has deployed $242,854.79 in funds to projects within Richmond County and $794,415.81 within the Town of Warsaw, for a combined total of $1,037,270.60. Some of these projects include….
