Middlesex, which finished as the Region 1A runner-up to Lancaster two weeks ago, stepped up to tie for second with George Wythe with a 60-over 348. Castlewood shot a 349 for fourth place and Lancaster finished at 72-over with a 360 for fifth place. The Devils took both the Northern Neck District and Region 1A tournament championships into state play.
Lancaster won the 2021 state championship with Galax as the runner-up….
