Tim Rice, in red shirt and khaki pants, looked ready to reclaim his spot as head coach of the Red Devils varsity basketball team last Friday. Standing with former assistant coach Tyrell Veney, Rice reminisced with former players as Lancaster High School hosted Essex. Rice, who retired in 2020, returned to LHS to celebrate the 10-year reunion of Lancaster’s 2012 Group A, Division 2 state championship team. Rice coached LHS to two state titles.
