2023 Best of the Rivah contest could be best yet

A record number of votes were cast and the winners have been revealed in the 2023 Best of the Rivah contest. The winners were announced in the August edition of The Rivah Visitor’s Guide now on newsstands throughout the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.

“We were delighted in the response this year and are excited that interest in the contest continues to grow,” said publications coordinator Susan Simmons.

In its eighth year, the contest includes 41 categories under seven subheads including seafood, food, drinks, retail, hospitality, experiences and business services. All nominations were required to be at public establishments and venues within the publication’s eight-county coverage area. First-, second- and third-place winners were selected in each category.
