Hundreds of high school players on 23 junior varsity and varsity sandlot teams from the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula, and as far away as the Eastern Shore, will come to Kilmarnock next weekend for the annual Dream Fields Invitational.
Softball and baseball play will begin on Thursday, March 30.
In varsity softball, Lancaster will play Washington & Lee at 5 p.m. on Field 2. Varsity softball action will continue on the same field between Mathews and St. Margaret’s at 7 p.m.
On Field 6 at 5 p.m., St. Margaret’s will play Rappahannock in JV softball.
Varsity baseball play will begin at 6 p.m. with Lancaster playing Washington & Lee on Field 5.
JV baseball play will also start at 6 p.m. when Rappahannock faces Mathews on Field 3.
Games will continue on Friday, March 31, starting at 4:30 p.m. and resume on Saturday, April 1, at 12:30 p.m.
