LANCASTER—Nancy Ann Hurst, 65, of Lancaster County passed away surrounded by family after her battle with cancer on April 24, 2017.
She is survived by her son/caretaker and daughter-in-law/caregiver, Ronnie and Krystal Webb; son, Phillip Hinson; brother, Marshall Moss Jr. (Genoveva); nieces, Melissa Moss (Billy Lawson) and family, Molly and Lilly Lawson, and Ashley Moss.
Nancy was born on June 4, 1951, in Richmond to Elizabeth and Marshall Moss. She graduated from Verina High School in 1969.
She was a known member of the community. Nancy was a dedicated worker; she worked for Food Lion in Kilmarnock for over 20 years then moved on to Walmart in Kilmarnock for six years until she was forced into retirement due to cancer.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda, VA. Memorial gifts in honor of Nancy can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
