At the Lancaster board of supervisors meeting on Thursday, July 25, Del. Hilary Pugh Kent recognized Bill Webb, “a very special Lancaster County resident” who retired from the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office in 2023. During the 2024 General Assembly session, both Kent and Sen. Richard Stuart introduced resolutions recognizing Webb’s 47 years in law enforcement for a number of agencies, serving and protecting Northern Neck residents “with the utmost dedication, integrity and professionalism.” Webb said he was honored by the resolutions and he “loved every minute of the nearly 48 years.” Photo by Jackie Nunnery
