Devils and Raiders facing off for first place in baseball

It’s showdown time.

The Lancaster Red Devils varsity baseball team faced back-to-back games against Northern Neck District rival Rappahannock Raiders. The winner of the two will clinch first place in Region 1A. The two teams were scheduled to meet in Warsaw on Tuesday, May 5, and play tonight, May 7, at Dream Fields.

Lancaster entered the week first in both the district and region with a 6-0 district mark and 13-3 overall with four games left, including the Rappahannock clashes. The Raiders are 11-3 with five games to play, including the two against Lancaster.
