Andrea Johnson of Kinsale missed winning her Showcase Showdown prize by $78, but she was still a big winner on “The Price is Right” game show which aired on CBS on Thursday, June 4.
“Believe me, I had tears in my eyes,” she said after hearing how close she was to the actual price of her Showcase prize package. “But it was still so much fun.”

Johnson and her husband Marvin, Tracey and Keith Parker of Heathsville and Lenore and Charles Parker Jr. of Fredericksburg, in November 2025 attended a wedding in California and on November 13 attended the game show taping, wearing matching shirts that read “Oh…pick me pick me! I am ready to Come on Down.”
A. Johnson was one of the first four contestants “to come on down” and after a perfect $1,100 bid for a tool set—which also yielded her a $500 bonus for the exact price—she earned her way on stage, where she played the High-Low game and won a trip to Sweden….
