The Lancaster County Little League Junior Baseball All Stars went unbeaten at 3-0 to win the District 15 tournament last week.
Lancaster will represent the district in the Virginia Junior League Baseball Tournament Thursday, July 9, through Tuesday, July 14 (see related story).
Opening ceremonies will be held at 5:30 p.m. today at Town Centre Park, 150 North Main street, Kilmarnock. Lancaster will have a home-field advantage in the state tournament as play opens tomorrow at Dream Fields, 1385 Irvington Road, Weems. Lancaster’s first game in the 13-team state tournament will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 11.
