With public schools and fall sports starting in mid-August, it’s time for tryouts and practices to begin.
The Lancaster High School golf team is the first to start practice. The team, which plays its first match on the first day of school, August 10, will hold an interest and organizational meeting at 5:30 p.m today, July 23, at the Golden Eagle Golf Course in Irvington. Any LHS students interested in playing, experienced or not, are urged to attend, said coach Rob Pittman.
The team will hold its first practice from 4-6 p.m. July 27 at the Golden Eagle.
