Drinking Habits
The Westmoreland Players will present “Drinking Habits” at The Westmoreland Players Theatre, 16217 Richmond Road, Callao. Performances are slated at 7:30 p.m. August 14, 15, 21, 22 and 28; and 3 p.m. August 16, 23, 29 and 30.

Garden club
The Kilmarnock Garden Club will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, at Kilmarnock Baptist Church, 65 East Church Street, Kilmarnock. The speaker will be Jeff Wright, a Certified Virginia Master Naturalist and past president of the Friends of Dragon Run.
He will present “Backyard Birding in the Northern Neck.” Wright is the leader for the Northumberland-Lancaster Christmas bird count.
Jazz4Justice
A Jazz4Justice concert will be held at 7 p.m. August 22 at Northumberland High School, 201 Academic Lane, Heathsville. Hosted by the Northern Neck Bar Association, the concert will support legal aid services for families in need.

Crab feast
The Morattico Waterfront Museum, 6584 Morattico Road, Morattico, will hold its 13th annual crab feast from 3-5 p.m. September 12. The menu will include steamed crabs, hot dogs, sides and desserts. Bring a crab knife.

Photo Group
The Rappahannock Art League Photo Group seeks new members of all levels who wish to improve their skills. The Photo Group meets at 10 a.m. on third Mondays at the Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.

Music festival
The eighth annual Northern Neck Beach Music Festival will be held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. September 12 and 13 on Town Hill in Colonial Beach. Participants can expect dancing, food, beverages and raffles. Saturday music will include Feature Attraction Band (FAB) and The Chris Sacks Band. Sunday music will include River Rock and Band of Oz.
Through September 1, a two-day ticket is $50 per person; one-day ticket, $25 for Saturday, $35 for Sunday; younger than 12, $15 each. Purchase tickets at https://givebutter.com/BeachMusic26. Ticket prices will go up after September 1.
Wine & Whiskers
Garfields Rescue Inc. will host Wine & Whiskers from 5-7:30 p.m. September 3 at Trinity Episcopal Church Pavilion, 8484 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster. The event will offer wine, hors d’oeuvres, music, 50/50 raffle, slideshow and silent auction.
