WEEMS—Joyce Ann (Day) Lyles of Weems died August 5, 2026.
She was born June 10, 1951, in Black Mountain, N.C., the daughter of Ernest and Adelaide Day. Joyce Ann attended Belpre, Ohio, schools and graduated from Colonial Beach High School, Class of 1969.
She worked at NWTL Dahlgren before moving to Lancaster County, where she was employed with Geo Products and True Value (Farm & Home Supply), before retiring in March 2026.
Joyce Ann is survived by her brother, Alan Day (Jo) of Vienna, W.Va.; niece, Chrissy MacLean (Scott) of Ashville, Ohio; and nephew, Paul Day of Belpre, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, Robert and Hilma Garner; and brothers, Bruce Day and Robert Day.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date with family.
