KILMARNOCK—The Town of Kilmarnock finances earned a clean bill of health for the 2025-26 fiscal year, according to an independent audit conducted by the firm of Robinson, Farmer Cox.
On Monday, August 17, certified public accountant Michael Moran with Robinson, Farmer Cox presented an overview of the audit.
According to Moran, the town earned an unmodified opinion in the independent auditor’s report, the audit was clean and in total compliance. The report determined there were no material weaknesses or significant deficiencies in the financial reporting, he said.
Moran added that the net position of government activities at the end of the fiscal year totaled $11,241,706, which is an increase of $677,127 from the previous year.
