Northumberland planning commission discusses zoning ordinance revisions

HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland planning commission on Thursday, August 20, addressed several changes to update the county’s zoning ordinance.

By a 9-0 vote, the commission recommended changes to the bulk oil/propane storage definition to allow retail sales. The commission also recommended that such facilities be allowed as a conditional use in the general business district.
