Northern Neck Chapter 1823 National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) has invited First District Rep. Rob Wittman and Democratic candidate Shannon Taylor to speak at the annual fall picnic on Tuesday, October 6.
The picnic will begin at 11:45 a.m. at Shelter 2, Belle Isle State Park, 1632 Belle Isle Road, Lancaster. The park has a $5 parking fee. Current, former and retired federal employees, spouses and survivor annuitants are invited, reported public relations chairman Nellie Landrum.
The chapter will provide sausages, hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages. Those whose last names begin with A through L are requested to bring a salad/side dish, or M through Z, a dessert.
