Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against two individuals.
Misdemeanors
A White Stone woman, 67, was charged September 10 with trespassing after having been forbidden to do so and dumping trash on public or private property.
A Lancaster man, 77, was charged September 12 with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and reckless driving.

September 7: Staff responded to Merry Point Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 400 block of Long Cove Lane for a larceny, to the 17000 block of Mary Ball Road for debris in the highway, to the 500 block of North Main Street for a suspicious person, to the 400 block of Fleets Bay Road for gunshots in the late evening hours, to the 300 block of Buzzards Neck Road for a domestic disturbance, to the 900 block of Chesapeake Drive for trespassing, and to the 100 block of Little Bay Road for a neighbor dispute.
September 8: Staff responded to the 800 block of West Point Road for an adult welfare check, to Merry Point and Devils Bottom roads for a two-vehicle traffic crash, to the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge for debris in the highway, to the 100 block of Little Bay Road for a civil complaint, and to the 500 block of North Main Street for a disabled vehicle.
September 9: Staff responded to the Norris Bridge for a disabled vehicle.
September 10: Staff responded to Rappahannock and Chesapeake drives for a road hazard, to Mary Ball and Peirces roads for a downed tree, and to the 300 block of White Hall Road for a suspicious person.
September 11: Staff responded to the 400 block of Lumberlost Road for harassment, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for harassment, and to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a wanted person.
September 12: Staff responded to the 500 block of Johns Neck Road for downed utility lines, to the 300 block of Mosquito Beach Lane for a scam; and to the 300 block of Clover Lane for a verbal dispute.
September 13: Staff responded to the 1800 block of Coxes Farm Road for a residential burglar alarm.
Staff also conducted 14 traffic stops, issued 12 summonses, assisted a motorist, recorded a deer strike accident, handled two requests for traffic control, investigated three building alarms, processed a mental health order, logged an inmate transport, received 10 E911 hang up calls, and fielded four calls for animal control.
Fire calls
Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department responded to a traffic crash on North Main Street, and to a fire alarm on Heatherfield Court.
White Stone VFD responded to separate fire alarms on Windmill Point Road and King Carter Drive.
