Virginia Bankers Association (VBA) communications and financial literacy coordinator Monica McDearmon recently visited the Bright Futures School Bank at Lancaster Middle School.
The school bank is a partnership between Bank of Lancaster/VCB and LMS. Ann Marchetti, Bank of Lancaster/VCB’s school bank coordinator, is on hand each week to supervise the student bankers.
Marchetti said, “The VBA has advised that Bright Futures is one of only a few school banks in the entire Commonwealth of Virginia.
