The recent Bonus Rockfish Tournament concluded the Northern Neck Angler’s Club 2017 fishing season. The club’s final member tournament of the year was slated November 25 and 26.
However, Small Craft Advisories were posted Sunday, November 26, for all four of the club’s tournament fishing zones. In accordance with the club’s tournament fishing rules, Sunday was cancelled as a competitive fishing day and tournament results were based on eligible fish weighed in on Saturday, November 25, reported vice president and tournament director Mark Roy.
The target species was rockfish. Results were:
• First, Randy Gunn, 13 pounds, 7 ounces.
