“An Evening With Two Fabulous Old Broads in Three Acts” opened May 10 to a full house and on Friday night received a standing ovation.
Audiences are loving the comedy provided by Becky Nunn and Donna Smith in three separate plays, said Nunn.
Both Nunn and Smith portray three completely different characters in the three acts, she said. All three acts are filled with comedy, laughter and downright entertainment. The play is suitable for all ages with only one instance of “adult” language in the first act which is suitably muffled.
Shows will continue at 8 p.m. May 18, 19, 25 and 26; and 3 p.m. May 27. A social period will begin an hour before show time. Tickets are $25. For reservations, go to lancasterplayers.org, or call 435-3776.
The show marks Nunn’s and Smith’s “swan songs” to a culmination of over 100 years of combined stage acting, said Nunn.
