The Lancaster County Lions Club recently donated $250 to the Coyotes, the new White Stone youth football team.
The team is comprised of pre-teens in the area and coached by Andrew Wylie. They currently play on the vacant lot on Beach Road, behind the 606 Restaurant.
“The Lions were pleased to find yet another way to support youth and youth activities,” said club president Jim Schmidt. “While we are perhaps best known for our assistance to the visually impaired, assistance to the youth of our community is also very much one of our principle goals.”
