The impending arrival of Hurricane Florence has caused several changes in local athletic schedules.
All area football games scheduled for tomorrow, September 14, have been postponed or were played earlier this week. Lancaster’s varsity football game against Middlesex was postponed and a make-up date has not been set, according to LHS athletic directory Dave Zeiler.
A volleyball match between Lancaster and Northampton on the Eastern Shore that was supposed to be played September 12 was postponed. Additionally, the LHS varsity volleyball team was to play in the Endless Summer Tournament at the Virginia Beach Convention Center Saturday, September 15. That tournament was postponed.
