Jahannes named NCNW communications manager

The National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) recently announced Tkeban X.T. Jahannes has been appointed communication manager and will work closely with president Johnnetta B. Cole and executive director Janice L. Mathis overseeing media/press inquiries and electronic and social media while implementing national branding of NCNW.

For 11 years, Jahannes served under two administrations in the city of Atlanta’s Mayor’s Office as e-communications manager. He directed all phases of both the creative and technical elements for the Mayor’s Office and 13 connected departments ensuring brand accuracy and consistency, print/web collateral creation and city websites. He also served as the official City of Atlanta photographer.

Along with his municipal government work, Jahannes has worked with several different agencies and projects as graphic arts director, writer, editor and media specialist. As a consultant, he brought his talents to the BronzeLens Film Festival, the Trumpet Awards, BET Hip Hop Awards, UNCF of Atlanta’s Mayor’s Ball and the Soul…
