IRVINGTON—Mrs. Mary Emma Bell Boyer of Irvington departed this life on May 15, 2019.
Surviving are her beloved husband, Harvey P. Boyer; her devoted daughter, Willsonia M. Boyer; her thoughtful and caring sister, Martha Ellen Bell Carter; a faithful niece, Lindora B. Yerby (Otis); a loving nephew, Ruffin O. Bell Jr. (Diann); four sisters-in-law, Elizabeth B. Cooper, Beatrice B. Brown, Lennie A. Thornton (John), Franceno A. Diggs; four brothers-in-law, Frank H. Anderson Jr. (Andree), Ethan Pitts (Gwendolyn), Warren M. Pitts (Laura), Maurice Pitts (Patricia); godchildren, Wade Adams and Gwendolyn Dabney; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Remains rest at the Campbell Funeral Home, 27 Bluff Point Road, Kilmarnock and visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. Friday, May 24.
Visitation will continue from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at Sharon Baptist Church, 1413 Lumberlost Road, Weems. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. and interment will be in the church’s cemetery.
