The Essex 4-H Livestock Club competed in the 72nd annual Fredericksburg Area 4-H-FFA Junior Livestock Show and Sale May 8 at The Meadow Event Park in Doswell.
The show highlighted 4-H livestock projects of cattle, goats, sheep and swine, reported Shannon Ellis.
In the goat division, Cameron Allen placed second in the market goat class and fourth in intermediate showmanship. Regan Allen placed first in market goat class and was reserve grand champion in senior showmanship. Carter Mitchell placed third in the market goat class and was reserve grand champion in junior showmanship.
