Kilmarnock Baptist Church will host “Humor in the Bible” at 9:45 a.m. Sundays August 4-25. Dr. Mark E. Biddle, who has written a book on the subject, will be the series speaker.
Dr. Biddle was the Russell T. Cherry Professor of Old Testament at the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond (BTSR), where he taught since the fall of 1997. He came to BTSR from a post as associate professor of religion and director of the honors program at Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn.
