SALUDA—Tariq Joel Beane, 17, of Merry Point will stand trial as an adult for the alleged murder of Elijah Baker of Gloucester County on March 23 in Middlesex County.
Beane is charged with first-degree murder, felony use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and a misdemeanor for brandishing or pointing a firearm, according to documents in Middlesex County Circuit Court.
