The RAL Art Center, 19 North Main Street, Kilmarnock, will host a free art talk Monday, October 21. A reception will begin at 1 p.m. followed by the talk at 2 p.m.
Lorraine Brevig of the Richmond Conservation Studio will present “The Art of Painting Conservation and You,” reported communications and marketing team leader Barbara Kershner.
Brevig has a bachelor’s, a master of fine arts in painting and printmaking and an advanced certificate in art conservation. She is a member of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works.
