HEATHVILLE—Walter Carl Montross, 66, of Heathsville died Sunday, April 12, 2020.
He was the beloved husband of Linda; father of Tracy (Jesse Muñoz) of Charlotte, N.C., and Geoff (Julie) of Alexandria; brother to Stewart and David; grandfather to Josephine Grace Montross and Jackson Boone Muñoz.
He was a retired and highly respected golf course superintendent and former U.S. Coast Guard Flotilla Commander.
Celebrations of life will be planned for a later date.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
