WARSAW—Northern Neck Soil and Water Conservation District (NNSWCD) education/outreach specialist Kathleen D. Watson recently announced adjustments to the Fall 2020 Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection program.
HHW events are collaborative efforts among the NNSWCD, Virginia Cooperative Extension and the respective counties in the Northern Neck, said Watson.
Out of an abundance of caution regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Westmoreland County has postponed the HHW collection originally scheduled for September 26. The new date for the event is April 24, 2021, she said.
