COMPASS joins CinemaSafe protocols

COMPASS Entertainment Complex, 100 Entertainment Drive, Irvington, which includes six cinemas, has joined 400 companies comprising more than 2,600 locations and more than 30,000 screens nationwide to implement uniform COVID-19 safety practices.

The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) recently announced a set of health and safety protocols. CinemaSafe—based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines—was developed over several months by a team of industry experts and leading epidemiologists. Theaters following the voluntary protocols may display the CinemaSafe badge.
