Christchurch swim team wins VISAA Division 2 championship

Christchurch School swimmers recently won the 2021 Virginia Independent School Athletic Association (VISAA) Division 2 State Championship. The team placed fourth in the state overall. 

The VISAA State Swimming and Diving Championship looked a little different this year—it was done virtually, with swimmers competing in their home pools with “Proof of Time” verified submissions, reported communications associate Jennifer Homer. The home pool for the Seahorses is the Northern Neck Family YMCA in Kilmarnock. 

Members are Javier Sobreviela, Evan Fannin, Jason DeGraw, Jackson Kiland, Izzy Kiland, Lucas Qi, Bryan Floyd, Jeb Baker and Evan Randall.
