$1.64 million capital project list sent to Lancaster supervisors

LANCASTER—As a next step in the capital improvement planning process, the Lancaster planning commission on Thursday, March 18, held a public hearing and revised the rankings of a project list for the 2021-22 fiscal year. The projects total $1,643,995.

Following the hearing and related revisions, the commission recommend the ranked list to the board of supervisors for approval.

The commission ranked two school projects—$62,500 for a school security matching grant, should it be awarded, and $197,000 to convert the annex into an early childhood center—in the top two positions.

Next in line comes a $10,000 request from emergency medical services to go toward consulting and grant writing services as part of a P25 digital radio upgrade.
