The Heathsville Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville. The theme will be “Kids Day.”
“Kids Day” activities will include games and a scavenger hunt with prizes. The Tavern Woodworkers Guild will have a table for kids to make their own wooden boat, said executive director Corinne Becker. Looms will be set up in the Tavern Spinners & Weavers studio where kids may weave. The Tavern Crafters will have a crafting table the Blacksmith Guild will offer demonstrations.
